Rotation Control-Shaft Stand Still

Rotation Control-Shaft Stand Still

The CRTP rotation  control or  speed  control is  used  to control  the  speed  of  a  rotating  shaft  or  its  stopping.
The device controls the time interval between two pulses detected by a sensor in mechanisms with rotating or rectilinear movement. If this time becomes greater than the one set on the device, an alarm sounds which signals the decrease in speed or stop of the mechanical unit.
This device represents an excellent solution for verifying sliding, conveyor breakage, overload, etc. in equipment such as conveyor belts, bucket elevators, crushers, grinders, pumps, mixers and other equipment where slowing down or stopping due to mechanical breakage or abnormal functioning needs to be controlled. The same device, properly programmed, can check the condition of the shaft stop, signalling an alarm in case of movement. The rotation control consists of an electronic CRTP unit with various programming possibilities and a detection sensor with an inductive, capacitive or photoelectric principle in the NAMUR-NPN-PNP versions.
The device is powered in alternating current with relay output with changeover contact. The combination of sensors with different detection systems and various shapes and sizes allows the use of the CRTP rotation or stop control to be used in a wide range of applications.

SPEED CONTROL CRTP-U/O AF FOR UNDERSPEED/OVERSPEED AND STANDSTILL CONTROL (special version)
This rotation control version, in addition to the features described for the CRTP model, can be programmed for two operational modes referring to a rotary or linear unit: one for control of reduced speed (underspeed) and the other for control of increased speed (overspeed). In both the versions mentioned above, the device includes the standstill safety control. The technical and operational characteristics can be found by clicking on "Technical Features" below.
