Inductive Ring Sensors

Inductive ring sensors detect the presence of metal objects, including non-ferromagnetic metals, which pass through the sensing field located inside the ring. They are particularly suitable for detecting small metal parts, checking for broken wire, clogging in supply pipes and ejection during production, counting pieces, and monitoring and dosing metal objects.
The output signal of the ring sensors can be used to control, monitor, report and process various operations.
The sensors are available with an internal ring diameter measuring 5-12-15-22-25-30-44-63 and 100mm and feature a detection capacity for spheres (targets) measuring 1 to 12mm minimum. All NPN and PNP amplified ring sensors are provided with a standard impulse retention time of 100ms that detects metal objects passing rapidly through the sensitive area of the inductive ring. The non-amplified Namur models are not provided with this time, but can be combined with an Aeco ALTP programmable timed amplifier with an adjustable delay between 30ms and 500sec.
The ring sensor's housing is made of plastic and the electrical attachments are available with a cable or with M8 and M12 connectors, depending on the models.
